English Week. Fotos y actividades
English week 2016
After an intense week, we want to share with you a compilation of photos and activities carried out by our school during the English Week. Or, maybe we should call it our Roald Dahl week. If you want to see them in depth, please take a glimpse at our Twitter and Facebook pages.
In Infants, we have worked, dressed up, danced and visited the Chocolate Factory thanks to our Golden Tickets. Willy Wonka is a funny character!
In years 1 and 2 we have been reading the story of the Enormous Crocodile, and we’ve had great fun making our very own crocodiles.
In year 3, we have made a project around The Fantastic Fox, by Roald Dahl, working together in Science, Literacy and Arts and Crafts.
In Year 4 we’ve been watching part of the film from Charlie and the Chocolate factory, and you can see our “Wanted” posters about the different characters.
In Year 5 we’ve been reading parts of the different books and watching the film of “Matilda.” We’ve been writing book reports, and creating our own figures of the most famous characters from Roald Dahl’s novels.
In year 6, we talked about Matilda and watched the film.
In Secondary, we watched the BFG film and visited the Book Fair.
All the school also went to see a theatrical play by the company Face2Face. It was good fun! And, in case you had any doubts, we also dressed up for Halloween and organized a Halloween Party.
In this text, we’ve missed out many anecdotes, a lot of learning, and different experiences, but, as you know, it is impossible to summarize a week in a school.
English week 2016
Después de una intensa semana, queremos compartir con vosotros un recopilatorio de las fotos y actividades que desde el centro hemos llevado a cabo estos días, en nuestra English week. O tal vez deberíamos llamarla nuestra semana de Roald Dahl. Si las queréis ver en profundidad, podéis visitar tanto el Twitter como el facebook del cole.
En infantil, hemos trabajado, nos hemos disfrazado, hemos bailado y hemos visitado la fábrica de chocolate gracias a nuestros tíckets dorados. ¡Willy Wonka es muy divertido!
En primero y segundo de primaria, hemos leído la historia del Cocodrilo y nos hemos divertido un montón haciendo nuestros propios cocodrilos. ¡Y no nos ha mordido!
En tercero, hemos hecho un proyecto en torno al libro del Súperzorro, trabajando conjuntamente en Arts and Crafts, Literacy y Natural Science.
